About Journal : Disaster & Development


The Institute publishes a bi-annual Journal entitled "Disaster & Development". The first issue of the journal was released by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India at the inaugural function of the First India Disaster Management Congress on 29th November 2006 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. This journal publishes various research and policy papers on different aspects of disaster management after thorough analysis and review. Besides plagiarism checking and relevance of the topics, experts and resource persons are involved to edit and review the content of research and policy manuscripts received from the authors. The Journal has been included in the UGC CARE list from July 2022.
