The training of the practicing engineers will be based on a two weeks module consisting of mainly two parts with one week each (5 working days), in RCC construction and in masonry construction. (State wise details).

The SRIs will train 10,000 engineers- 6,000 engineers in the public sector and 4,000 engineers in the private sector. The engineers so trained will assist the respective Government/organization in amending local building bye laws with reference to earthquake safety issues.
