Training of practicing Architects

A total of 110 State Resource Institutes (on an average 3 from each State/UT) will be identified for this purpose in consultation with State Government/UT Administrations. The State Resource Institutes will impart training to the practicing architects in a phased manner. The training of the practicing architects will be based on a one weeks module(State wise details).

The SRIs will train 10,000 practicing architects. The architects so trained will assist the respective Government/organization in amending local building bye laws with reference to earthquake safety issues.
