Activities

The following objectives have been identified to be achieved as follows:-
  • 7 National Resource Institutes (NRI) will train the trainers drawn from the State Resource Institutes. As per a standard curriculum finalized in consultation with a core group constituted for this purpose, the NRIs have developed course material for the ToT course. The duration of the ToT course will be one week.
  • Faculty from the State Resource Institutes  will be trained in these NRIs. These faculty members will in turn conduct training of practicing architects in the States/UTs. This would be a one-week training and would include various topics as per the course curriculum.
  • MHA will provide financial support for sensitization of architects. Indian Institute of Architects will undertake this task through its different chapters. State Government participation is envisaged in such training programmes
